On May 3, 2015 Southeast Virginia residents will gather at One Life Fitness in Virginia Beach to raise money for the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center to conduct rare cancer research. How? By riding stationary bikes. Part of a national movement, Cycle for Survival Virginia Beach challenges teams of up to eight people to take turns riding stationary bikes for a period of four hours. We have some major Give Local 757 updates to share with you! We are happy to report that this year's Give Local 757 will include $20,000 in matching funds to be evenly divided between Southside and Peninsula organizations! Furthermore, Obici Foundation grantees will be eligible for an additional $45,000 in matching funds and prizes. The Southeast Virginia Community Foundation is pleased to annouce that we will be partnering with the Peninsula Community Foundation of Virginia, the Suffolk Foundation, and the Obici Healthcare Foundation to cohost 2015's Give Local 757! Give Local 757 is an online, fundraising event for the benefit of all 757 community nonprofits, which will take place on May 5-6, 2015.
