SEVACF Treasurer Featured in Tidewater Women Magazine’s Women in Business
Emily Robbins, the Foundation Board’s Treasurer was recently featured in the “Women in Business” section of Tidewater Women Magazine!
The section in the publication’s January 2015 issue highlights several business women throughout Southeast Virginia. Emily is listed as Account Vice President at Virginia Asset Group, where she helps improve her clients’ financial portfolios by creating custom investment and financial plans for them.
“I believe in a balanced, disciplined approach to investing,” she states in the article, explaining that her recipe for success is made up of customized planning, personalized attention and service, and individualized financial guidance for each of her clients. She stresses that no matter how much wealth a person may have, one’s investments are important to both oneself and one’s family.
Emily expresses that her goals are to both continue to assist clients and to grow her business while raising her family. She advises other women to find their paths, stating in the article, “You cannot be everything to everyone. Success is defined differently by everyone. Do your best to make your path a success for you.”
