2015 Spring Grant Cycle Results
We are happy to announce that this spring we were able to grant over $77,000 from our field of interest and Foundation funds to our area nonprofits!
As usual, funding priority was given to programs and projects that address the needs of the community, reach a broad population, and will likely yield substantial results. Our Grants Committee aimed to support the following areas of interest: health and human services, education, arts and culture, and civic and economic development.
We received many impressive grant applications, all from great organizations. While we unfortunately were unable to fulfill all of them, we are humbled to know that so many of the nonprofits in our community continue to turn to us for support and are proud to have been able to at least partially fund a majority of them.
All of the nonprofits who applied are doing a great job to better Southeast Virginia, and we thank them for their efforts and service. It is through all of them that we are able to make our biggest impact on our community, and it is a pleasure to have so many opportunities to lend them a helping hand through our grant cycles.
