In addition to processing your grant suggestions on time, we also work with you to tailor a grant program, check into a particular nonprofit, or fill you in on charitable needs and activities in the area. Below are tools to help you manage your fund.

Please Note: Only founders may appoint advisors to a fund. Advisors may not appoint other advisors.

Suggest a Grant

Advisors to donor-advised funds may suggest grants to be made from their respective funds to support charities of their choice at any time. However, such suggestions are considered recommendations, and the Foundation is under no legal obligation to approve them. Add to Your Fund

There are several ways to add to your fund once it’s established with SEVACF. You can:

Make a credit card donation online
Donate appreciated stock
Make a planned gift
Write a check made out to the “Southeast Virginia Community Foundation” and mail or deliver it to our office with your fund name in the memo to:
